Rena Kato

She was born on July 10, 1997 at Chiba Prefecture, Japan, entirely the same as the 1st Generation member and the considered ace of AKB48, Atsuko Maeda. Since childhood, she appeared in many magazines as a model, and she joined AKB48, aspiring to become a famous model someday. She decided to join AKB48 to pursue that dream, along with the push and recommendation by her friends. She has a little sister. According to Togasaki Tomonobu, the current manager of the AKB48 Theater, he founds her singing attractive, likes how she is always poise and able to show enriched performances, which heals his heart.
